these lovely cups are made from each other. one is white porcelain and the other is the same porcelain stained black. after throwing the basic shape, i removed a circle of porcelain from one and swapped it with the other and then pulled the cup walls one last time which made the circle into an oval shape. the black stands slightly taller than the white which is a bit wider. they each hold about 10 oz and are little taller than half the height of a soda can.
