My love of making fine boxes continues with this my medium, ceramics. These limited edition boxes are made of unglazed, speckled, dark brown stoneware with a white slip accent circle on both sides and white slip worked into the lid.

This small keepsake box simultaneously feels modern and ancient. Constructed with great care and precision this box has a lovely balance while also having the heft of ceramic. Held in the hands it feels almost like stone. The surface is textured but smoothed, the color is warm yet it’s cold to the touch. It is the kind of object you want to pick up and examine again and again.

This is a pre order. I will keep this sale open for a week and then close the sale to begin production. Finished boxes are expected to ship to customers mid August. Thank you for your support of my work!
